While every hunter prides himself (and they should) on having the biggest and brightest flashlight, bigger and brighter is not always better.
While hogs may not see red light as red, it is important to recognize that they still see a contrast, granted in a faint shade of a darker color but yet a light and will react if the light is too intense or introduced too abruptly or both.
With that in mind, the light you will take with you should be dictated by the distance at which you know or think you will be hunting from.
